Join us for a discussion on mentoring and how to be a more successful mentor led by Cath Brown, who will be conducting the talk via livestream.

The talk will include the following topics:

• what mentoring is and what it isn't;

• the benefits/pitfalls;

• what makes a great mentor/mentee

• defining the purpose of the mentoring;

• establishing boundaries;

• communication styles;

• overcoming difficulties;

• bringing the mentoring relationship to an end.

The talk will be followed by a reception where attendees will have the chance to speak to other mentors/mentees and members of the Inn.

Cath Brown practised as a barrister for over 15 years at Kings Chambers in Manchester. Since leaving the bar, Catherine has worked globally as a trainer and coach, founding her company in 2018.

Please note this is a free event but booking is essential.
